Firstly, thank you to my new followers! :)

Just thought I'd update you with a quick Superdrug & Boots & Works shopping trip I did last week. Nothing that exciting, but whatev. There won't be another shopping trip update for at least a month now...just found out I have 62p to my name...and I can't get my overdraft 'til September. :( So it'll be reviews from now on! But anyway, here goes:

Superdrug

1. Superdrug Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes
I had previously used Wilko's own tea tree wipes, but I was in a town without one so I just nipped into Superdrug instead. Good price...something like £1.40 for 30 wipes. However, they STINGGG my face. I don't even have sensitive skin. Is this common for tea tree oil products??

2. GOSH 134 Darling Velvet Touch Lipstick
Definitely not as red as appeared as in this pic! But I do like it. I've wanted it for aaages so glad to finally have it. Has a beautiful feeling on the lips (velvety...), but does need a lot of coats to really work for me. I've not worn it properly for-the-day yet...but I'm guessing re-applications will be in order. Lovely nude finish though!

Boots (Natural Collection Eyeshadows)

1. Willow
I saw this for the first time the other week, and had sleepless nights over it! I had to go back for it! I absolutely love it...it's just a nude colour for the lid with a very very slight shimmer. Beautiful. Been looking for one since I finished one similar from H&M which I suppose is discontinued as I'm talking about 5 years.

2. Butterscotch
Similar to Willow, but has a slightly more pinky/peachy undertone.

3. Lilac Shimmer

Not very pigmented, but has a leaves a lovely pale lilac 'sheen' really.

3 for a fiver deal! Or £1.65 each. I tried to swatch, but the camera wasn't having it as they're all pretty skin-coloured anyway. I prefer nude eyeshadows to build up boldness with liner and mascara. :)

The Works

I swear I don't judge a book by it's cover! I picked the top one because I enjoy historical fiction stories, and the bottom too (as well for the same reason) because they're set in Revolutionary France which I will be studying next year at uni...so will probs help somewhat. :) 3 for a fiver deal, or £1.99 each! (Oxford store, so maybe all of the bigger ones.)

So anyway yeah, I have a few reviews coming up. After using Eyeko's mascara for a week now it's grown on me - absolute new favourite. Shhhh - don't tell Maybelline. But I'll do a review on that even though I'm sure I'll be jumping on bandwagon a bit late. Then a couple of hair products. I dunno. Anyone want to send me some money?

Tag thing.

Heyyy. So I'm back from my week down south. I did buy a few items I'll share with you in a post tomorrow or so...but just for tonight I'll do a tag I saw at Doll-House so you can get to know me a bit better...what with me being new to this blogspot malarky. :)

1. Thing you cannot leave the house without?

My mobile definitely. I hate not being able to get in touch with someone...even if to just text them to say something reminded me of them.

2. Favorite Brand of Makeup?

Maybelline probably. Natural Collection have to be high up there too.

Daisies!

4.Favourite Clothing Store?

West One. Although there isn't one where I live or near my uni which stinks. Otherwiiiise...Miss Selfridge? New Look? Primark?

Cacharel's Eden.

Flats are 100 times more comfier...and I'm not great at walking in heels. But heels give me confidence.

7.Do you make Good Grades?

I wish I did better, but I don't do badly. I always get it in my head "this year I'll put work first!" and it never happens. :(

8.Favourite colours

Purple! Followed by green, red and turquoise.

9.Do you drink energy drinks?
I have a really sensitive tooth to sugary things, so I try not to. But I'm a last minuter...so sometimes I've written an entire assigment on two cans of Relentless, two cans of Red Bull, a value energy drink, an espresso and a Boost bar. It hurts.

10. Do you drink juice?

Yessss. Pineapple is probably the fave.

11.Do you like swimming?

People laugh at me for hating it...my reason being, I feel I'm getting wet for no reason. Get in. Swim up. Swim down. Swim up. And on and on and on. Then you get out, freezing cold, all sticky. And smelly. Answer? No. :)

12. Do you eat fries with a fork?

I'll always pick up a fork from the fish and chip shop, yes defo. But at a fast food place, nah.

13. Favourite Moisturiser?

Palmers Cocoa Butter for the body. Nivea for the face. E45 for the hands (although tested a fab one from Lush the other day!)

14.Do you want to get married later on in life?

Yep, definitely.

15. Do you get mad easily?

Wound up and snappy very easily, yep. I wouldn't say mad.

16.Are you into ghost hunting?

Nope. I believe in ghosts, but I think leave them be. How would we like it?

17. Any Phobias?

Needles. & identical twins!!

18.Do you bite your nails?

Never have done!

19.Have you ever had a near death experience?

Nah. I fell down the stairs once as a toddler, and my brother caught me because he heard thudding from a different room he was in. The bottom was cobbled stones. I think I may have been hurt very very badly to the head....but death? Dunno.

20. Do you drink Coffee?

I do. But I'll always always pick a cuppa tea first!

A little pain for the overdraft...

I'm back from the boyfriend's! We went into Manchester yesterday as I needed a good Disney Store for my niece and nephew's birthday presents so was all successful there.

& for myself, I got myself a few treats... I was one annoyed little girl; I ran out of my Maybelline Volume Express mascara on Tuesday night so was stressed about having to buy some more when I'm stuck for money. Then I go and find and unopened packet of a Maybelline XXL in a draw that I randomly chose to tidy that night. Then what happens - I go to my boyfriends, and leave it at home. Sooo, I had to buy myself a cheap replacement. So I gave Eyeko's Mascara a go....

I'm actually pleasantly surprised with it. It's the best mascara I've ever used for separating lashes and not clumping I think. It doesn't do a great curl job when compared with my usual, but lengthens well enough so £5 happily spent, I think! My first stray away from Maybelline...ouch.

&& thennn, I went a bit naughty in Lush. I'm trying to save money at the moment, but I could not resist their new Sugar Babe sugar scrub, and then their hair treatment H'Suan Wen Hua which I've wanted for a while - so so excited to try that out! My boyfriend got himself (but made me pay at till - macho wuss!) one of their bubble bath bars, MA bar - toffee and chocolate smell. I dipped my feet in, was lovely and smooth. & I also got myself a Simple facial scrub. I'm really into looking after my skin at the moment. :)

Ooohoohoooh, and then I splashed out £3.95 on the famous Genie Head Massager. Beautiful purchase!! :D Everyone and their dog should have one.Anyway, sorry for the long post guys. I'm gone for the next week. I'm off to see my best friend in Hertfordshire and spend a day or so with my sister and her family who live there also due to the kids birthday's being in the next two weeks. I dunno when I'll be back for certain - I'll update my Twitter with it or something.

First post - hello!

Ooook, so I made a new blog. My last one was giving me no motivation whatsoever to get started. Only, I have no followers yet....so I'm just gonna go around and about following some interesting blogs myself, making comments, and just hope I get somewhere somehow? I don't understand blogspot just yet...more a livejournal girl back in the days.

I'm very into the average girly things: makeup, accessories, shopping, reading etc. So expect lots of that when I blog. :) Oooh, surveys/tags too.

I won't be updating for a few days as I'm going to stay with my boyfriend until Friday. Speaking of him, I've posted a pic of the flowers he got delivered to my door when I was poorly with a 48hr sick bug ha. Sweet, or what?
